Headed up by Lawrence Santiago, American Popular are one of the most refreshing different rock bands I have heard in a long time. Their debut album mixes together raw rock with soulfull slow movers in a powerful combination running from Father Help Me / My Therapy to Even Though I Never Said. In short, they rock.
